My Week with The Sunny Side Up Show: How Long Have Hosts Been On?

 

Have you noticed that some of the Sunny Side Up Show hosts have been on for about the same amount of time? I, as a Sprout historian, find that interesting.

PBS Kids Sprout TV Wiki covers all ten hosts. I’m going to do a list of their tenures today!

• Kevin Yamada (September 26, 2007 - December 25, 2009)
• Kelly Vrooman (September 26, 2007 - December 22, 2013) (RETURNED AS A GUEST: THANKSGIVING 2014)
• Sean Roach (January? 2008 - December 13, 2013)
• Dennisha Pratt (December 31, 2009 - June 2014) (RETURNED AS A GUEST: MOTHER'S DAY 2015)
• Liz Filios (November 1, 2010 - June 2012) (RETURNED AS A GUEST: MARCH 2013)
• Carly Ciarrocchi (June 2012 - August 11, 2017)
• Tim Kubart (December 30, 2013 - August 11, 2017)
• Darryl Williams (January 3, 2014 - 2015?)
• Kaitlin Becker (January 6, 2014 - 2017)
• Emily Borromeo (June 2014 - July 27, 2017)

So that's that. A few thoughts and observations.

Kelly Vrooman and Carly Ciarrocchi were both on for six years, but Vrooman was on more.

Kevin Yamada and Liz Filios were both on for three years, but Yamada was on for more months.

Being two of the only four male hosts the block had, Tim Kubart and Sean Roach were both on for five years! Same probably goes to Dennisha Pratt.

Kaitlin Becker and Emily Borromeo were on for the same years (2014 to 2017), so that makes four years. Wow! Time flies when you’re older than a preschooler!
