No One Cares About Banjo

Miles (Milton Barnes) and Banjo the Dog (Ali Eisner) were the main characters of The Let's Go Show, an Afternoon and later weekend morning block that aired on Sprout from 2007 to 2010, and were part of the Sprout Gang.

"Banjo's my favorite Sprout character!" - no one

Given how underrated The Let's Go Show was, Banjo won't find herself winning any popularity contests soon. She, along with The Let's Go Show itself, has such a small fanbase. Why does no one like her? There are two reasons why.

1. Banjo is Boring

Banjo served as Miles' on-air sidekick on The Let's Go Show, making them sorta like daytime versions of Nina and Star. She was a doppelgänger to the Sproutlets at home to keep the show moving. She also introduced this promo.

She made a cameo in Sprout's Snooze-a-Thon.

…and she sang "Part of the Family" with Patty, Ricky, and Curtis in Preschool Musical.

2. She didn't disappear when The Let's Go Show did

The Let's Go Show ended in 2010, but the Sprout Control Room shorts premiered in 2014. The character Meeka was recycled from the Banjo puppet, albeit with altered features.

For anyone who says that Banjo is the worst Sprout character, reconsider your stance on following your goals. Banjo may be underrated, but she is not undeserving.
