Madeline Fretz - Well, Sproutlets, today's the day! As many of you probably know, in July 2006, it was discovered original Good Night Show host Melanie Martinez was in two PSAs on the website technicalvirgin.com in the early 2000s. Sprout decided it was best to just let her go, and The Good Night Show went on hiatus while the channel launched a worldwide search to find a new host. In September, while Sprout was celebrating its first anniversary, Noel MacNeal guest hosted as Leo, who introduced Lucy the Firefly. On December 18th, fifteen years ago today, the third season launched with new host Nina, played by actress Michele Lepe. They changed enough of the show and the set to let Sproutlets and their Big Sprouts know that there was a new girl running the ship.
Fifteen years later, I pulled out a few Nina videos to celebrate.
Thanks for everything, Nina and Michele. Happy fifteenth!
