Make Way for Noddy

Madeline Fretz - Make Way for Noddy was a British stop-motion children's show airing on PBS and based on Enid Blyton's preschool character, and was a staple on Sprout since launch day.

Sprout described the series as:

Make Way for Noddy features the adventures of Noddy, a little wooden boy with a nodding head and jingly blue hat whose innocent enthusiasm leads him into all kinds of tricky situations.

Originally, The Noddy Shop was going to air on Sprout, but MWFN aired instead.

The show had a Sprout Diner recipe: Noddy's Apple Car Delight. Unlike the other Diner shorts, Noddy's request came in by balloon instead of phone call.

The show aired on The Sprout Sharing Show.

The show left Sprout a few months before the rebrand. It originally left in June 2010 to "make way" (get it?) for Nina's Little Fables, which debuted around the time, but returned in 2012.
